Our Ursule lamps are made through a meticulous multi-step process:

Wheel-thrown: Each piece is carefully shaped by a passionate artisan, with attention to every detail.

Drying: The lamp slowly dries under olive trees, allowing moisture to evaporate evenly.

Chamottage / Chamotté texture: The characteristic grain of the surface is achieved through careful preparation of the clay before firing.

Firing: Finally, the lamps are fired under controlled conditions, ensuring durability and a unique finish.
The chamotte stoneware gives each lamp a robust, tactile texture, making every Ursule unique. The ivory color softens the ceramic and allows light to diffuse warmly, creating a serene atmosphere. Ursule Suspension fits beautifully into wabi-sabi, minimalist, rustic, or contemporary interiors.
