The Pitchoun Suspension – Red Terracotta by Enamoura is a compact, handcrafted pendant light that brings warmth and simplicity into a timeless design. Pitchoun means “the little one” in Provençal, reflecting the lamp’s intimate scale and gentle presence.
Each Pitchoun is patiently wheel-thrown by hand in a pottery workshop rooted in ancestral craftsmanship in Aubagne, southern France. After shaping, the lamp is left to dry “à la sèche” under the sun, then carefully trimmed (tournassée) and fired in the kiln. The ceramic surface retains subtle traces of the maker’s gesture, making each piece unique.
The red terracotta finish gives the lamp a warm, Mediterranean character. Light is diffused softly and delicately, creating an inviting, intimate atmosphere. Its pure, rounded form adds a sense of lightness and balance.
Pitchoun works beautifully above a kitchen island, in a hallway or niche, as a bedside pendant, or combined with Lisette and Ursule to form a poetic lighting cluster.
Finished with a refined porcelain ceiling rose, Pitchoun blends effortlessly into raw, minimalist or more sophisticated interiors, adding warmth and artisanal depth.
