The Pitchoun Suspension – White Terracotta by Enamoura is a compact, handcrafted pendant light that expresses lightness and simplicity. Pitchoun means “the little one” in Provençal, referring to the lamp’s intimate scale and gentle presence.
Each Pitchoun is patiently wheel-thrown by hand in a pottery workshop rooted in ancestral craftsmanship in Aubagne, southern France. After shaping, the lamp is left to dry “à la sèche” under the sun, then carefully trimmed (tournassée) and fired in the kiln. The ceramic surface retains subtle traces of the maker’s gesture, making each piece unique.
Crafted in white terracotta (white clay), this version diffuses light in a soft, calm and natural way. Its pure, rounded form gives the lamp an almost weightless appearance and creates a warm, tranquil atmosphere.
Pitchoun works beautifully above a kitchen island, in a hallway or niche, as a bedside pendant, or combined with Lisette and Ursule to create a poetic lighting cluster.
Finished with a refined porcelain ceiling rose, Pitchoun blends effortlessly into minimalist, raw or more sophisticated interiors, adding light, warmth and artisanal depth.
