The Lisette Suspension – Grès Minuit by Enamoura expresses the beauty of raw material and restrained form. Each lamp is wheel-thrown by hand in a pottery workshop rooted in ancestral craftsmanship in Aubagne, a historic centre of ceramic making in southern France.
After shaping, Lisette is left to dry “à la sèche” under the sun, then carefully trimmed (tournassée) and fired in the kiln. This version is crafted from midnight stoneware, a deep, dark clay with a rich, matte surface that absorbs light and creates a soft, intimate atmosphere.
The minimalist, timeless form allows the contrast between light and dark ceramic to take centre stage. When illuminated, Lisette emits a warm glow that enhances the depth and texture of the stoneware.
Perfect as a bedside pendant, in a bathroom, or as ambient lighting above a table or niche. Combined with lighter Lisette or Ursule pendants, it creates a striking yet balanced composition.
Finished with a porcelain ceiling rose, Lisette fits effortlessly into wabi-sabi, minimalist and contemporary interiors, adding depth, calm and character.
