Memento chair - black

The Memento Chair by Jesse Sanderson was inspired by a wooden school chair from the 50s, that at the time was designed mainly for practical reasons. In his replica of saddle leather with metal buckles, Jesse is able to capture a sense of austerity and simplicity. For the latest Memento versions the designer used a selection of limited pieces of vintage leather in a unique range of colours.

The raw edges and the imperfections in the leather give the chair its charm and authenticity.
