The Kalé lamp was born from the collaboration of atelier OSH & Maison de Vacances: a combination of French know-how and upcycling. Fully handmade with natural and sustainable materials, the sublime Kalé lamp is unique.
Odile and Stéphane Hypolite, the founders of OSH, have recently converted to living in accordance with their ecological values. The couple sold their restaurant to pursue their primary passion, lighting. They create unique pieces, handmade with local and sustainable materials, second hand or from short circuits.
The couple is particularly fond of wool, washed and spun, without treatment, from the sheep of the Beau farm located 10 km from their workshop. This wool, with its old-fashioned texture and colour, is a natural material that is rare on the market. With Maison de Vacances, Odile and Stéphane Hypolite develop stoneware lighting and lampshades made of wool or jute yarns.
