Kilim Cushion #196

A kilim is a flat hand-woven rug with no raised bristles. Typically, both sides of a kilim are usually the same. They are used as floor or wall hangings, sometimes also as prayer rugs. Wool is used for the patterns and cotton for the warp threads. These patchwork pillows are made by cutting old kilims into pieces and sewing the pieces back together.

The cushion includes the filling.
