The story

The Dayak are the native people of Kalimantan. Each type of Dayak basket is made to serve one, specific purpose. Men's baskets are undecorated, they use it for hunting or collecting fruit.

These backpack baskets are woven of rattan strips. We give them a new life as candle holder. Perfect to hang in a tree on hot summer evenings or to use as a nice candleholder during the dark winter. The weaving pattern reflects fabulous drawings which will make you dream about faraway adventures.
