Phillipe Xerri, the designer of this lamp, is a Parisian stylist en decorator. In 2001 he decided to go live in Tunisia, because he was so impressed by the extraordinary craftsmanship of the Tunisian artisans.

It's that exact crafstmanship that you'll find in this hanging lamp, which is totally constructed with alfa grass.

Alfa is a species of herbaceous plant, which grows in the arid regions of the Mediterranean basin, mainly used for its braided fibers. The Meduse Suspension, transports you to an oriental atmosphere for a unique ethnic decoration which highlights the raw natural materials. Ideal for your interiors as much as for your covered terraces.

As all these products are handcrafted, their dimensions, shape and colour may vary slightly from one model to another. Each piece is unique and hand-moulded.  

The colour of the natural fibres softens over time.
