Authentic Hemba Mask n°2

This authentic Hemba mask originates from eastern Congo (Democratic Republic of Congo), where the Hemba people are renowned for their refined sculptural traditions.
Masks played an important role in rituals related to ancestor veneration, protection and social harmony within the community.
