The story
These charming shoppers are hand woven in Morocco. They are made from palm leaves , which grow abundantly in the region of the Atlas Mountains. It is a time-consuming and labor-intensive process. Palm leaves are harvested, dried, split in two and after woven into strips which will later be sewn together to build up the basket.
