The story
The Dutch interior designer Piet Hein Eek has designed these special baskets for the 50th anniversary of Fair Trade Original.
These baskets from palm wood are handmade in Vietnam. The design features tied-together laths to allow the palm wood to naturally change shape without affecting the basket. Local fishermen advised on which threads and knots to use.
