The story

Intricately woven wall platters made by the weavers from the Hwange district of Zimbabwe. Each Hwange basket is one-of-a-kind, woven in shades of brown and natural palm. You get the basket from the photo.

Although these wall platters make striking wall art alone and when hung together in a group, these shallow woven baskets can also be used for bread etc.

These Hwange wall baskets are handwoven from ilala palm and hand dyed using natural dyes. Brown and natural tones and complex geometric designs characterise this collection, which can take several days to complete due to their extremely complex designs.
