The story

Bogolan is the name for a cotton fabric, traditionally dyed with fermented mud from the Niger and other natural dyes such as bark and plants. In traditional bogolan production, men weave the cloth and women dye it. The strips of cotton are woven and sewn together. The imagery tells something about the wearer. The technique comes from Mali; but is spread throughout West Africa. Every cushion is unique, and gives an ethnic touch to your interior. Dry cleaning only.
